It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Widener Brock of Pineville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard A. Widener and Wilma Elliott Widener; her son Anthony Howard; her siblings, Howard A. Widener and Peggy A. Widener; her brother-in-law Mickey Garrison; and her son-in-law Charles Lawson (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara, Lawson, Lowell C. Howard (Gail Blevins), Jennifer J. Howard and Valery V. Satowski (Darrell Stephens); her grandchildren, Andrea Nicole (Adrian Akins), Charles Austin (Ivy Lawson), Madison (Johnathan Simpson), Lowell Kyle (Jayden Heck), Julia R. Howard, Barry Landon Howard, Cody Forester, Tyler Forester (Mary Johnson), Meradith Rutherford (Matt Weems), Kayla Satowski and Gavin Satowski; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Elle Forester, Tripp Forester and Nola; her siblings, Rose (Jackie Hoskins), David (Judy Widener), Lou Ann Garrison, Phillip (Sally Widener) and Teresa (Alan Stinson); her sister-in-law Irene Widener; and her aunt Sue Nunn.
