He was predeceased by: his father Owen T. Sarah Asher Combs; his wife Mary Gladys Osborne Combs; and his siblings, Junia Lee Twyon, Roberta Montgomery, Travis Combs, Elmer Combs and E. M. Combs.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Combs Watts (John Michael) of Corbin, KY; and his grandchildren, Samuel Combs Watts (Katie Jo Dick) and Erin Marie Watts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family suggests contributions in Elwood's memory be made to the First Christian Church, 201 Tennessee Avenue, Pineville, KY 40977.
