He was predeceased by: his parents, George Matt and Rosa Vinie Minton Asher; his wife Pauline Asher; his children, Norma Jean Johnson and Hiram Asher, Jr.; his great grandchild Emma Grace Fuson; and his siblings, Jim, Carolyn Asher, Pinie, Juanita Asher, Arnold Asher, Helen, Jerry Gudger, Haley Sutton, Pilinie Asher, Fannie Lawson and Cora Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Helen; his sons-in-law, Craig Saylor and James Johnson; his grandchildren, Isaac Saylor, Travis, Tabitha Saylor, Casey Johnson, Shawn, Leslie Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Brittany and Chris Fuson; his great grandchildren, Makenley Saylor, Doltan Warren, Wyatt Saylor, Kaleigh McCoy, Adisyn Johnson, Madison Johnson, Cameron Hoskins, Dalton Johnson, Caisyn Fuson, Bently Fuson and Kisyn Fuson; his brother Bradley; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Asher and Mary "Mag" Asher; his niece Shirley Carlton; and his nephew Jerry Gudger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
