She was predeceased by : her husband Kenneth B. Lyons; and her siblings, Wava Chapman, Rose Mary Simpson-Thayer, Ira and Bill Simpson.

She is survived by : her children, Marty Jackson (Dennis) of Eminence, Jeannie Lyons of Pleasureville and David Lyons of Perry Park; and her sisters, Mildred Long of Michigan, Phyllis Jackson of Michigan, Brenda Gilland of Michigan and Susan Staufer of Michigan.
