She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Hammond and Birdie Conley Hammond; her husband Jerry McElvain; and her siblings, John Hammond and Nettie Dowmond.
She is survived by : her children, Gerri Lynn Moore (Jerry) of Providence, Jessica Utley of Providence and Carl Wayne McElvain (Sammie) of Paducah, KY; and her sisters, Eliza Livingston, Willa Hall, Rosa Bischoff and Bonnie Kelly. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
