He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Kane and Bonnie Lee Benedict; his daughter Sheila Waggoner; and his sister Lori Ann Horton. He is survived by: his brothers, John Horton of Baltimore, Hugh "Butch" Horton of Mechanicsville, James "Jay" Horton of Lusby and Robert "Bobby" Horton of Maryland.
