He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Vaught Jr. and Ada Jernigan Vaught; and his brother Jackie Eugene Vaught. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Majors Vaught; his sons, Jeremiah Vaught of Providence and Toby Vaught of Providence; his sister Cindy Byrd of Union Co; and his grandsons, Alexander Vaught and Andrew Lowther.
