She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Clayton and Mary Clayton; her husband Red Melton; her daughter Letitia Syler; her granddaughter Lista McCully; her son-in-law Kevin Harrison; and her brother Herbert Lee Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Harrison of Dixon, KY and Louis Melton of Dixon, KY; and her grandchildren, Cory Harrison, Becky Pugh, Landy DeKemper and Terina Langston. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
