Eddy Skaggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddy Skaggs (Vine Grove, Kentucky), born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy; and his siblings, William, Verlin, Lowell and Catherine Skaggs.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Brock (Jeff), Wally Skaggs (Melodie) and Debbie Duncan; his grandchildren, Marrisa Shufelt (Andrew), Coltyn, Ayden and Sean O'Malley (Lily); his great grandchildren, Lawson, Gunnar, Rowan and Ryann; his pet Charlee Gail; and his wife Debbie Skaggs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chism Family Funeral Home (769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, KY 40175). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Rineyville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
