He was predeceased by: his son Bobby Banks; his siblings, Wayne M. Banks, Barbara J. Martin and Jacqueline B. Ellis; and his stepmother Mary Banks.
He is survived by: his spouse Georgia Banks; his children, Craig L. Banks, Sr., Estol C. S. Banks, Jr. (Christina), Anthony Banks, Desiree B. Gowdi (Leroy) and Kimberly Barnes; and his siblings, Eddie M. Banks (Linda), Joseph G. Ferguson, Althea Mack, Beverly E. Washington, Sharon Brooks and Denise Smith. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
