She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Rose Jr.; her parents, Richard B. DeSpain and Vicie L. Wilson DeSpain; and her siblings, Stanley Lee "Bud" DeSpain, Alta Mae DeSpain and Beulah Katherine DeSpain Corbin.
She is survived by: her sons, John E. Rose III of Radcliff and Donald L. Vance (Betty) of Elizabethtown; her sister Margie Powell (Sam) of Hodgenville; her granddaughter Karen L. Jury (Robbie) of Elizabethtown; and her great grandchildren, Kyle of Elizabethtown, Spencer of Elizabethtown and Rebecca Jury of Elizabethtown.
