He is survived by: his parents, Sonja Cassidy Lucas of Brandenburg and Joel Anthony Carter (Debbie) of Lawrenceburg; his wife Tiffany Carter; his children, Rebekah Jo Carter, Joel Laban Carter, Vennie Leftrich Carter and Bayleigh Grace Bullion; his siblings, Guin Ellen Carter of Radcliff and Anthony James Lucas of Brandenburg; and his grandmothers, Mary Smith and Ruth Carter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
