He is survived by: his children, Sheila M. Smith of Smiths Station, AL, Billy W. Smith of Germany, Linda G. Palmer of Columbia, SC and Roger D. Smith of Japan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters; and a host of family & friends.
