He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Grant, Sr. and Ellen Carrier Grant. He is survived by: his children, Virgil Grant (Rose) of Richmond, Allen Douglas Grant Jr. (Renee) of Richmond, Timothy George Grant (Sherri) of Richmond and Becky Grant Chenault (Edward, Jr.) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Christina Chenault Pennington, Jacob Grant, Samantha Chenault Ballard, Rachel Grant Bunch, Brandon Allen Grant, Katie Grant Meade, Alesha Grant Alexander, Jared Grant and Travis Grant; his great grandchildren, Blake Pennington, Brooke Pennington, Bella Pennington, Ben Pennington, Judah Grant, Ruby Grant and Bodi Grant; and his siblings, Wesley Grant, Leslie Grant and Francis Grant King. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
