He is survived by: his brother John William Lawson (Brandi Lawson); his siblings' children, Brian Lawson, Sheena Lawson and Angel Lawson; his sister Patricia Lawson; his nephews, Edward Flannery, Kevin Flannery, Carter Flannery and Troy Flannery; his sons, William Lee Lawson and Coleman McDowell Gibbs; his siblings' child Jerie Ray; his sister Lisa Ann Lawson; his niece Carolyn Nicole Hopkins; his aunt Dora Minter; and his cousins, Gwen Rhodus, Loraine Minter and Buck Minter.
