She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Lawson and Ada Moore Lawson; her daughter Carolyn Yvette Moore; her siblings, Tobie Lawson and Ellen Cheatham; and her grandson Robert Sigmon.
She is survived by: her daughter Daina Elaine Moore of Newton, NC; her siblings, Freeman "Bud" Lawson of Wayne, MI, Freida Combs of Wayne, MI, Thelma Smith of North Judson, IN and Darlene Cheatham of Maysville, KY; and her grandchildren, Daniel Sigmon III, Thomas Sigmon, Jenna McCracken, Nathan Turner and Joshua Turner. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
