He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Elzy Green and Ina Durbin Green; and his wives, Doris Brown Green and Grace Westover Green. He is survived by: his children, Richard Clay, Jonathan David, Rebecca Sue, James Carl and Paul Wayne; his grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Cyndi, Kristi, Johnathan, Joseph, Sarah, Marisa, Jordan, Kathryn, Eleanor and Nathanael; his great grandchildren, Emma, Noah and Lucia; and his sister Bernice Prewitt (Green).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Newby Baptist Church, Viney Fork Baptist Church, a food pantry, first responders, or a local charity.
