He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Lee Cole, Sr. and Frances Geneva Grider Cole; and his siblings, Delores Amonette, Deward Cole and John D. Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Nelda Upchurch Cole; his children, Mark Cole of Richmond, Kathy Wilford (Frank) of Lexington, Lisa Bush (Greg) of Lexington and David Cole (Carol) of Nicholasville; his grandchildren, Branden Riggins, Carrie Adcock, Derek Bush, Alec Bush, Logan Cole, Laura Cole, Hailey Cole, Anthony Cole and Jessica Mullins (Sam); and his great grandchildren, Jovie Riggins, Nellie Adcock and Mason Mullins. He is also survived by loving husband, a father and role model to his children, and a grandfather.
