He is survived by: his wife Josephine Lewis Engle; his daughters, Rhonda Brashear (Fred) of Hyden, Janice Kilburn (Karl) of Paris and Dinah Scott (David) of Lago Vista; his siblings, James Engle (Barbara) of East Bernstadt, Gary Engle (Carolyn) of Newport, Edna Pennington of Newport, Bessie Baker of Hazard, Shirley Henson (Mason), Sharon Maggard (Donald) of Cutshin, Wanda Collett (Richard) of Fairborne, Alphia Lewis (Larry) of Smilax and Brenda Coots (Billy Ray Coots) of Smilax; his sister-in-law Lena Engle of London; his grandchildren, Joel Brashear (Tracie), Kristy Carter (John), Rachel Combs (John Christopher "Chris"), Salena Hurter (John Louis), Amanda Scott and Alex Scott (Cammi); and his great grandchildren, William Frederick Brashear III, Chloe Brashear, Clark Brashear, Juliana Combs, Jaxen Combs, Jensen Combs, Max Carter and Kit Carter. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
