He was predeceased by: his father Earl. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Story Davis; his daughters, DeAnn Metcalfe (Kellis) and Daphne Crutcher (Dan); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Kyle Crutcher, Peyton, Noah, Logan, Olivia and Eli Metcalfe. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Garnett can be made to the Hospice Compassionate Care Center, 350 Isaacs Ln., Richmond, KY 40475.
