He was predeceased by: his parents, Jaye Wise Johnson (Hicks) and Carl Garfield Wise; his stepmother Beatrice Wise; and his siblings, Shirley Sue Wise and Skip Parson.
He is survived by: his daughter Shirley Willis (Wise); his wife Valerie Wise (Hamm) of Richmond; his son-in-law Terry Willis, Jr.; his granddaughter Alexandria Jaye Willis of Richmond; and his siblings, Glenda Bingham of Kingston, TN, Charly Wise of Prestonsburg and Grant Wise (Satomi) of Honolulu, HI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
