It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John T. Sowders Jr. (Richmond, Kentucky), born in Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Sowders and Bertha Ellen Blankenship Sowders. He is survived by: his sons, David Sowders (Fran) of Haslett, MI and Paul Sowders (Lynn Dee) of Richmond; and his sisters, Waunita Kearney of Richmond and Barbara Sowders of Richmond. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
