She was predeceased by: her parents, Haymon Foster and Lizzie B. Foster; her siblings, Nancy Barrett and Ronnie Foster; her granddaughter Cassiopeia Lynnette Griffin; and her son-in-law Ben Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosetta Abney (Roy Rogers), Patricia Elliott and Cynthia Griffin; her siblings, Waydell Foster, Billy Foster (Jeannie), Lula Belle Forbes, Thelma Hoover and Loretta Powell (Ricky); and her grandchildren, Angela Brooks, Tommy Young, Larry Abney, Jr. (Melissa), James Harlan Abney (Casey), Richard Abney (Victoria), Daniel Abney, Monieca Abney, Joseph Abney, Mike Harris (Kim), Kara Piepenbrink (Noah) and Benjamin Griffin (Megan). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
