She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Mitchell and Mary Alice Mitchell; her son Robert Eugene Mitchell; her brothers, Thomas William Gassett, Ronald Lee Mitchell and James Floyd Mitchell, Jr.; and her grandson Brandon Burton.
She is survived by: her son Timothy L. Gassett (Meighan); her brother Calvin Mitchell (Emma Louise); her grandchildren, Keegan, Tucker and Ava Gassett; her great grandchild Jaydon Burton; her sisters, Ida Elizabeth Lisle, Molly Ann Mitchell, Jeroline Brown and Sadalia Mitchell; her sister-in-law Emma Mitchell; her niece Dana Walls (Tommy); and her cousin Johnetta Jackson. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins.
