He was predeceased by: his parents, Patton Slemp and Martha Martin Slemp; and his brothers, Robert Eugene Slemp and Homer Slemp. He is survived by: his wife Karen Neal Slemp of Mt. Sterling, KY; his sister Geneva Campbell of Camargo, KY; and his nieces and nephews, Gayle Campbell, Gary Campbell, Herman Ray Campbell, Ricky Campbell, Charles Campbell, Roger Slemp, Rita Howard, Elizabeth Slemp, Audra Mae Slemp and Corrina Charles.

In lieu of flowers donations suggested to Karen Slemp to defer funeral cost.
