He was predeceased by: his parents, Northa Elswick and Iva Greer Elswick; his siblings, Thomas Elswick, Marion Douglas, Alma Jean Johns and Northa Curtis "Bud" Elswick; his son William Russell "Rusty" Elswick; his stepdaughter Jenny Marie Anglin; and his son-in-law Huston Barger, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Billie Jo "Bicki" Elder Elswick; his daughters, Amy Jo Elswick Knopp (Peter) of Parker, CO and Catherine Neil Elswick Barger of Richmond, KY; his grandchildren, Skylar Jordan Barger, Huston "Trey" Barger III, Samual Joseph Knopp and Ella Marie Knopp; and his siblings, Wilma Davis, Connie Jones (Tom), Annie Brown (Dave), Edith Perkins, Jane Stephens (Dean), Linda Finley (Bill), Donnie Elswick (Verna) and Kenneth Elswick (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Due to new Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Father James Sichko officiating.
