She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Combs (Paul), Amelia Stapp, Flora Lynn Howard (Sam), Ricky Cheeks (Linda), Thomas Wayne Cheeks (Leah) and James Mark Cheeks (Beverly); and her brother Broaddus Gray. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
