The memory of Shaun T. Poynter in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 63, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Shaun may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shaun touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil D. Poynter and Frieda L. Poynter; his siblings, Scott, Vickie, Terri Poynter and Lawrence Poynter; his nephews, Bret Poynter, Michael Poynter and Eric Poynter; his great-nephew Sebastian; and his great-niece Mikahlyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
