He is survived by: his children, Waydell Garrett, Jr. (Renea Coleman) and Malissa Summerson (Scott); his siblings, William Boyd Garrett, Lenora "Sis" Evans, Glendean Baker, Margaret Hall and Darlene Sergeant; his grandchildren, Patrick Dale Garrett and Ashley Nicole Garrett; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Dale Pingleton and Blakeleigh Pingleton. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
