She was predeceased by: her parents, John Basham and Verlie Basham; and her husband Azzie Woodard. She is survived by: her children, Debra Summey of Rineyville, KY and Duncan Woodard of Frankfort, OH; her sisters, Mae George of Elizabethtown, KY and Gail Helms of Elizabethtown, KY; and her grandchildren, Lori, James, Robert Lee, Dale Dawson, Rebecca Jean and Joseph Douglas. She is also survived by two great‑grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown (2098 Leitchfield Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
