He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Davis and Hazel Hutchison Davis; his wife Patricia Pack Davis; and his brothers, Donald Davis and Thomas Davis.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald Davis, Greg Davis, Brad Davis, Sherry McGuire and Lynn Benton; his siblings, Brenda Hale, Linda Lucas, Rita Jo Hutchinson, Charlie Davis, Larry Davis and Ronnie Davis; and his former wife Edna Davis Childers. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
