He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Burton and Jewell Wilson Burton; and his sister Nancy Hines. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Robertson Burton of Russell Springs; his sons, Darrell Burton (Karen) of Russell Springs and Joel Burton (Becky Hughes) of Russell Springs; his siblings, Phillip Burton of Russell Springs and Annette Godby of Kings Mill, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Brandy Stone (Josh) of Bardstown, Megan Burton of Russell Springs and Jaylon Burton of Russell Springs. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, funeral services will be held privately for family only at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Phillip Miller officiating.
