He was predeceased by : his parents, Helen M. Montville (Jerome) and Nelson Montville; his son Josh Montville; and his siblings, Ed, Elmer Montville, Eliza VanEtten and Linda Coons.

He is survived by : his fiancée Mary Lajuett; his son Robert Montville Jr. (M'Rae); and his sisters, Brenda Scott, Lisa Furnia and Patty Keefe. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
