He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Lewis E. Franz Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Linda Lee Franz (Fox); his significant other Debra Renee Short of Ashland, Kentucky; his sister Allison Lee Franz of Flatwoods, Kentucky; his niece Cayce Tomlin (Michael Tomlin); his great-nephew Parker Tomlin; and his great-niece Piper Tomlin of New Albany. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Carman Funeral Home (2301 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139).
