With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Waggoner of Russell, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Delores leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Delores may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Marshall and Betty Cartmel Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Angela Stanton of Huntington, Marsha Whaley (Doug) of South Point, OH, David Waggoner (Denise) of Flatwoods, KY and Anita Durbin (John) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Devin Brumfield (Courtney), Keira Stacy and Rachel Read (Matt); her great grandchildren, Ainsley and Finley Brumfield; and her husband Larry David Waggoner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home (2702 Panola St, Catlettsburg, KY 41129). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the East Carter Memory Gardens (1296 E Main St, Grayson, KY 41143).
