It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alexander Shope of Russell, Kentucky, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his sisters, Patty Sue Shope and Judith Eaton. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Bartlett Shope; and his sister Helen M Siders of Catlettsburg.
