He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Kennedy and Evelyn Knight Kennedy; his stepmother Lelia Kennedy; his daughter Amanda Kennedy; and his siblings, Donnie, Charlie, Bubba Joe Kennedy and Paula Haines.

He is survived by: his children, Jayden, Noah Kennedy of Auburn, April Ferris (Roger) of Dyersburg and Kim Brasher (Donnie) of Florida; and his siblings, Brian Kennedy (Judy) of Russellville, Johnny Tucker (Janie) of Guthrie, Sammy Haines of Alabama, Marilyn Crowder (Joe) of Elkton, Linda Kennedy of Russellville, Debbie Markham of Elkton, Tina Haines of North Carolina, Lynne Hartford (Leonard) of Russellville and Debbie Joiner of Evansville, Indiana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the funeral home for expenses.
