He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy and Gladys Laura Brooks (Eden); his sons, Ronald Earl Brooks and Jackie Dailey Brooks; and his siblings, Jesse "JD" Brooks, Eugene Brooks, Archie Brooks, William Ray Brooks, Christine Edwards and Alice Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Brooks; his daughter Teressa Ann Turns (Roger) of Springfield; and his brother Charles Brooks (Linda Kay) of Elkton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Russellville F.O.P. or Toys for Tots.
