He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Karen Smith; his sons, Phillip Smith (Kim) of Calhoun and Steve "Smitty" Smith of Sacramento; his grandchildren, Logan Smith and Amber Smith; and his brothers, Norman Smith of Calhoun and Glenn Smith of Island.
