He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzie Howard and Pearlie Tackett Howard; his wife Pauline Tackett Howard; and his siblings, Kenneth Howard, Monroe Howard, Hershel Howard, Rex Howard, Dennie Howard, Rosie Williams, Verla Adams, Tressie Mae Howard, Vetta Fay Caudill, Addie Hale and Versie Hunley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vivian Morgan (Rod) of Salyersville and Von Wheeler of Salyersville; his sister Magdalene McDowell of Lexington; his grandchildren, Whittney Allen, Brad Wheeler, Carla Wheeler, Brack Morgan and Casey Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Brody Wheeler, Bryson Jenkins, Brady Jenkins and Karly Jenkins.
