It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Montgomery Shepherd of Salyersville, Kentucky, born in Seitz, Kentucky, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Garner Montgomery and Imogene Bailey Montgomery Gullett; her husband Robert "Bob" Shepherd; her stepdaughter Terri Ortiz; and her brother Morris Montgomery.
She is survived by : her son Tyler Shepherd (Misty) of Salyersville; her brothers, Ronnie Montgomery (Kathy) of Salyersville, Forrest "Bud" Montgomery (Linda Gail) of Wellington, Dewayne "Poss" Montgomery of Salyersville and Paul "Gumby" Montgomery of Salyersville; her sister-in-law Alvia Patrick Montgomery; and her grandchildren, David Chandler Lykins, Mayley Grace Lykins and Robbie Ortiz. She is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, one great niece, and six great nephews.
