He was predeceased by : his parents, Harkless Caudill and Fannie Howard Caudill. He is survived by : his son Diston Caudill of Beverly Hills; his sister Stella Joseph of Royalton; and his grandchildren, Misty Haspen of Kingsford Heights, Dusty S. Easley of Kingsford Heights and Wendy Noble of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a host of family and friends.
