She was predeceased by : her parents, Sherman Helton and Cassie Mae Hartsock Helton; her husband Calvin Lyon; her daughter Vanessa Lyon; her grandson Wesley Steven Penix; and her siblings, Rainey Virgil "Bud" Helton, Elmer Hassel Helton, Joyce Ann Stapleton and Virgie Francis.
She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Jones (Rick) of West Liberty, Judy Penix (Jeff) of West Liberty and Karen Collins (Tim) of Salyersville; her siblings, Billy Gene Helton of Salyersville, Betty Jo Jenkins of Salyersville and Elva Jenkins (Raleigh) of West Liberty; her brother-in-law Bill Stapleton; her grandchildren, Amy Stacy (Cooter), Amanda Ferguson (Daniel), Abby Kendrick (Casey) and Tyler Collins; and her great grandchildren, Braden Stacy, Braxton Stacy and Addy Ferguson.
