It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordis Howard and Mable Baker Howard; his wife Clara Jean Howard; his son James Russell Howard; and his siblings, Benjamin F. "Bear" Howard, Fred Arnold Howard and Ruth Ella Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Howard (Jill) of Salyersville and Debbie Harvey (Eddie) of Owingsville; his daughter-in-law Jackie Howard of Salyersville; his sisters, Lillie Bell Lyon of Ohio, Betty Rose Russell of Salyersville and Jewell Howard of Salyersville; his grandchildren, Natasha Harvey Allen, Zachariah Dean Harvey, Emily Katherine Carpenter, James Morgan Howard and Peyton Rae Cox; and his great grandchildren, Nyla Grace Allen, Noah Grant Allen, Anna Claire Carpenter and Titus Dean Harvey.
