It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Salyer and Rebecca Poe Salyer. He is survived by : his daughters, Rhonda Minix and Michelle Salyer; his siblings, Jimmy Salyer, Lucille Bailey, Elsie Rowe Alma Howard, Flossy Hackworth and Reva Thompson; his granddaughter Danika Karyce Salyer; his wife Geraldine Davis Salyer; his brother Johnny Salyer of Carver; and his grandsons, Donovan and Delano Salyer. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
