He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Shook, Jr. and Carolyn Williams Shook. He is survived by: his wife Martha Wooten Shook of Scottsville; his children, Elizabeth Buchanon (John) of Scottsville, Danny Shook (Susie) of Brandenburg and Susan Smith (Deron) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Jackson Buchanon (Cate), Caroline Buchanon, Clark Smith (Emily), Virginia Smith, Sarah Shook and Ben Shook; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Georgiana and Penny Buchanon; his brother Joseph W. Shook (Claudia) of New York; his nieces, Alison Windham (Brian) and Claudia Casanova (Mark); his sister-in-law Linda McKinley (Doug); and his sibling's children, Matt McKinley (Samantha) and Laura Hughes (Dan).
The family request memorial donation be made to the Scottsville Baptist Church or Gideons International.
