She was predeceased by : her parent Elizabeth Peters (Scott); her husband Thomas Byrd; her sons, Jimmy Byrd, Larry Byrd and Gary Byrd; and her siblings, Billy Peters, Wilma Couch and Esther Peters.
She is survived by : her parent Lucian Peters; her children, Brenda Byrd, Norma Byrd and Douglas Byrd; her sister Dathia Bell; her grandchildren, Jody, David, Christopher, Jerry Napier (Beth), Alexandria Napier, Issac Napier and Adam Napier; and her great grandchildren, Serenity, Breanna, Caleb, Kyara, Amiah and Ryland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
