She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Pete" Scott and Elizabeth Anderson Scott; her husband William Alexander "Bill" Jones; her son-in-law Jeffrey "Bear" Otis; and her grandson Jeffrey Lee Otis.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Jones (Debbie) of Winchester, Sandy Jones Davis (Glenn) of Richmond, Patty Jones Dickerson (Mike) of Salt Lick and Glenda Jones Otis of Owingsville; and her siblings, Johnny Scott (Carolyn) of Carlisle, Carolyn Jones of Carlisle and Phyllis Rice (Dennis) of Lexington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home (89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Crown Hill Cemetery (99 Main St, Sharpsburg, KY 40374).
