Kathryn left this world on November 2, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Watt Martin and Sallie Conley Martin; her daughter Kathy Kennedy; her grandchildren, Jimmy Martin, Carol Faye Martin, Christopher Hinton, Evelyn Wolford and Michelle Hunt; her great grandchild Kayla Palmer; and her brothers, Junior Martin, Joe Martin and Charlie Martin.
She is survived by: her husband H. Eugene Currens of Shelbyville; her children, Jackie Wolford of Shelbyville, Tammy Pavey of Shelbyville and John Martin of Shelbyville; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Kennedy of Louisville, Dustin Pavey of Shelbyville, Brandi Pavey of Shelbyville, Rebecca Foltz of Walton, Rachel Martin of Cincinnati, Chad Curtsinger of Shelbyville, Sarah Martin of Crestwood and Crystal Hood of Shelbyville. She is also survived by her fourteen great-grandchildren; her seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville Thursday (1185 West Main Street Shelbyville, KY 40065). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
