She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Redman and Dorothy Redman (Long); her daughter Patty Christman; her husbands, Bernard Johnson and Glenn Payton; and her siblings, Kenneth Wayne and Thelma.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Martin (Curtis), Gwinn Johnson, Toni Johnson (Kevin), Johnny Johnson (Tammy) and Nathan Johnson (Sheila); her son-in-law David Christman; her stepchildren, Nancy (Gene), Diane, Brenda, Ricky, Rusty and Reverend Mark (Tammie); and her close friend Peggy (Gerry). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hosparus Health and Alzheimer's Association in Betty's honor are appreciated.
